Who organizes the workshop?

The workshops are events from tectum - raum&zeit | filmgeräteverleih to train filmmakers in collaboration with various partners.

Where are the workshop taking place?

How do I get to the Workshop?

To get to Leuschnerdamm 31, we recommend traveling by public transport. The subway station Mortizplatz or Kottbusser Tor (Line U8 or U1) is only 10 minutes walking distance away. There is a limited parking space. If you still plan to arrive by car, we recommend the route via Oranienstrasse - the Leuschnerdamm is a one-way street on our level.

When are the workshops starting and when do they end?

The seminars start at 8:30am and last until 6:00pm. At around 10:30am and 4:00p.m. there are small coffee breaks, from 12:30 to 1:30 we break for lunch.

How can I participate?

The participation in our workshop is only possible after registration via email and the successful transfer of the registration fee. Only registered participants will gain access.

How much does the workshop cost?

How can I get a discount?

We grant early bookers a discount if their participation fee is received two weeks before the workshop starts. Furthermore, the workshop fee will be credited to 50% on future rentals.

We are offering a 20% discount on the standard price of all our workshops for members of the BVK and BVFK as well as students.

What is included in the registration fee?

The participation fee includes participation in the workshop and if available the materials of the workshop. Drinks, a small breakfast snack, lunch and a coffee break are included. Travel and accommodation are not included.

Where can I get a place to stay?

If you need an inexpensive opportunity to stay for the weekend, we recommend the Motel One near Mortizplatz. This is about 10 minutes walk from our location.

If necessary, we can assist you in your search.

Will I receive an invoice?

After each booking you will receive an invoice with the appropriate data. These bills are eligible for input tax invoice in accordance with the requirements of the tax office. If you visit a workshop for the purposes of professional development, you may deduct the costs incurred to the participation fee usually from your tax.

Someone else (eg. my employer) paid for my participation, can the invoice be issued to him?

Yes - please specify the invoice recipient when you sign up for a workshop.

Do I get a certificate?

Yes, all participants will receive a certificate at the end of the seminar.

Will the workshop certainly take place?

We reserve the right to cancel workshops on short term notice (eg. failure to achieve the required number of participants, illness of the speaker). In this case pre-paid participation fees will be refunded. Any further liability and claims for damages are excluded.

In exceptional cases it may happen that we have to postpone a workshop. In this case we will notify all registrants about the new date via email. All those who do not like the new date have the opportunity to cancel their participation and will be refunded immediately. The cancellation period is two weeks, after that period we see the application as binding.

What can I do if I can not attend?

Who paid the participation fee but can not attend may send a substitute participant - in this case please notify us and send us the name and email address as soon as possible via email to workshps@tectum.tv so that we can change the badge and the participant's certificate. When the workshops is fully booked we can offer the course on our website again. In your own interest, please notify us as soon as possible if we can pass on your slot to another participant and then we will refund you the registration fee.

What about privacy protection?

The data that you input in our website will be stored and processed by tectum for planning and conducting the workshops.

We try to document as many of our workshops photographically and use these photos on Facebook, in publications, websites and other media. With your registration for the workshop, you agree to this. If you disagree, please speak to the photographer on site to ensure that you will not be photographed.

What else should I know?

The liability of the organizer to the participants is limited to intent and gross negligence. For the loss of wardrobe, valuables, etc. at the venue, the organizer assumes no liability.
